Since becoming an Aesthetician in 1979, I have always had a pass

ion for my work and feel strongly that the actual performance of giving a facial to a client is an aesthetic experience.  It is always with great pleasure that I intend to execute the facial service in such a way that there is a quality of beauty woven into the clinical elements.  My perspective on the goal in skin care is to promote skin health, and it is healthy skin that I believe is synonymous with beautiful skin.  The Aesthetician and client work together to achieve this goal and the aesthetic experience may be shared by both.

Although it may appear that the facial is just a series of mechanical movements to apply and remove products, if done properly it is so much more.  My choice of product is very critical on two levels.  One of course is to perform with expected results and two is its aromatherapy benefit.  I benefit from the scents as well as my client.  Every movement of the hands across the face is designed to promote relaxation and generate well-being.  The right touch lets the client know that they are being cared for in the best way possible.

In every treatment I approach each client with the desire to improve the health of their skin.  Additionally I feel a responsibility to educate them in the basic ways of product usage, nutrition and exercise that will improve their overall general health, which have a direct benefit to the skin. It truly becomes a beautiful experience for me when at the end of the facial my client expresses their delight with the way they look and feel.
